In the course of studying the peculiarities of regeneration of the hydrodesulfurization
catalyst DN-3531 in the supercritical CO2 media it was shown that nickel oxide does
not dissolve in it. However, in the case of application of a mixture of CO2+DMSO (5%
mass) in the specified conditions, dissolution of nickel oxide in supercritical fluid
solvents appears as possible due to the formation of Ni[DMSO]xOHy complex, which
is soluble in supercritical fluid solvent mixture.
