Nitrolysis of 1,3-diacetylimidezolidine и 1,3-diacetylhexahydropyrimidine with nitrogen
oxide(V) in liquid gases (carbon dioxide or 1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane) afforded
corresponding cyclic bis-nitramines. Nitrolysis of 1,3,5-triacetyl-1,3,5-triazacyclohexane
and 1,3,5,7-tetraacetyl-1,3,5,7-tetraazacyclooctane proceeded under similar conditions
in a nonselective manner to give mixtures of incomplete nitration products.
