Iron-containing mesoporous silica samples are obtained using sol-gel synthesis followed by drying in supercritical carbon dioxide and relationshi ps between their textural characteristics and synthesis parameters are established. The materials obtained are considered as promising Fenton catalysts for the oxidation of organic substances in wasted water by hydrogen peroxide.
